St Mary's church in Rye celebrates the annual World Day of Prayer on Friday, March 6 at 10:30am with a service open to all.
This year's prayers are for Zimbabwe and the theme is "Rise. Take your mat and walk" reflecting John 5:8 at the Pool of Bethesda. After the prayer service there will be a time of fellowship and refreshments will be served.
Churches Together in Rye and District will be worshipping together at St Mary's at 6pm on Sunday, March 29 and a Lent course is being held in St Mary's Centre in Lion Street next to The Kino cinema on Tuesdays in March at 2pm on "Jesus, the Wounded Healer".
