This Friday, December 2, Yoka (pictured above) returns, playing at the Ypres Castle Inn (known locally as the Wipers and accessed from the Gun Garden Steps by the castle, or from Fishmarket Road) with The Sugarbeats from 9:30pm, followed on Sunday December 4 at 7pm by Wakin' Snakes.
Next week, December 6 features the Ypres Open mic night (held on the first Tuesday of each month) hosted by Ashley Davies from 8:30pm. Friday December 9 features Atlantic (9:30pm) on the eve of the town celebrating Christmas with "Tales of Old" on December 10, and then Cushty (Friday December 16 at 9:30pm)
Rockitmen stage a Christmas Party from 4pm on Sunday December 18, Wasted are on from 9:30 pm Friday December 23 and New Year's Eve has Phil Trainor from 8pm.
