Three incidents in Rye - one thought to be targeted attack

Three properties in Rye had their windows broken last week, with one incident believed to be a targeted attack.

The health centre on Ferry Road had a window smashed overnight on Friday, February 28 into Saturday, March 1. No entry was gained to the building in what is thought to be malicious damage. The crime reference is 413 01/03.

Occupants of a property in Hilltop Drive had their windows broken at 1:50am on the morning of Friday, February 28. A spokesperson for Sussex Police said: "This was believed to be a targeted attack and we are appealing for any witness or anyone with information to come forward quoting reference 75 28/02."

Earlier in the week, more windows were destroyed this time at the Pipemakers Arms in Wish Ward. It happened on Wednesday, February 26 at half past midnight. A male was seen running away from the property, making off down Cyprus Place.  Any witnesses should contact police quoting CAD 35 26/02/25.
