The committee of the New Hall, Winchelsea, has announced that the summer fete will be going ahead this year. So add the date to your diary - Saturday, August 14.
The Fun Dog Show has always been a highlight of the fete and will once again, prove one of the most looked forward to events. It's always difficult to determine who is more excited - the dogs or the owners.
Various other games, stalls, and tombola will be providing added value, and the Pett Level Inshore Rescue Boat team will be providing a barbeque to keep everyone going.
The top prize in the raffle will be £100 cash, with other prizes including a voucher for the Rye Retreat, and a bottle of wine from local producer, Charles Palmer Vineyards.
The fete starts at 12:30pm, entry costs just £1 and proceeds will be distributed among local good causes, including Rother Responders, Rye & Winchelsea District Memorial Hospital, Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance and New Hall.
