Pigs Can't Swim and Pigs Can't Fly, Wild Boar, Little Piggies - and many more porcine themed songs were in the repertoire of the Rye Ukulele Experiment on Tuesday October 27 at the Queens Head.

Sixteen ukulele players lined up to entertain the crowds and it was great to welcome some new members to the stage for the first time. Ali Catt, Mrs Hall's Boys, Bob and the good old boys, and the Ukulele ladies also performed some excellent special spots.

It was good to see both locals and holiday makers and all of us enjoyed tucking in to some great piggy nibbles provided by Deputy Mayor Jonathan Breeds and his team. Thanks also for the generous donations made by the audience for the on-going fund for St Michael's Hospice - recently badly hit by a fire.
