Whose right of access is it?

There is still time to make your views know on the ESCC plan to transfer asset ownership

Further to the report in Rye News published on April 28, East Sussex County Council's (ESCC) public consultation on Access to the Countryside is open till July 29.

In response to a request for information, ESCC spokesman, Andy Le Gresley, stated that the transfer of asset ownership would be one option, along with others such as leasing out or some other contractual arrangement. In relation to Johnson's Field and Camber Sands in particular, the option evaluation “will be informed by the consultation responses”.

The consultation survey and link to the draft strategy are available on the ESCC website.
