This Sunday, September 24, Rye and Winchelsea Rotary Club and Rye and District Wheelers launch their 11th Fun Cycle Challenge, Le Tour de Rye et Romney Marsh, starting between 9 and 10am outside the Rye Club in Market Road.
This supports local charities and good causes and entry is by donation: adults, £10; 11 to 16 years old £6, under 11s, free – and registration is from 8:45am. Enquiries to 01797 223574 or ryerotary@hotmail.co.uk
There are four rides at distances of 10, 25, 50 and 100km. The 10km turns at Camber, the 25k at Lydd. A medal for all riders and refreshments at the finish.
