Unfortunately I missed the Sunday February 26 outing at Pett Level which was organised by 'The Plastic Tide' which sounded really interesting. It is a project that aims to set up  computer programs, based on beach clean and survey data, to auto detect marine litter and plastics from images taken by drones. Forthcoming clean-ups - Saturday March 4 at Pett Level, 10am - 12noon, Marine Conservation Society Beach watch (Meet up on sea wall between Smuggler pub and Pett Level Rescue Boat, Pett Level)

Saturday March 25, 10am-1pm, Spring Beach Clean. Rye Harbour Nature Reserve (Meet at Lime Kiln Cottage on the reserve)

Wednesday April 5, 10am-12noon, Rye Harbour Nature Reserve monthly litter walk. Meet at Rye Harbour car park.

Friday April 7, Winchelsea Beach, 3:30pm-5:30pm. Surfers Against Sewage (Meet at toilets at end of Dog's Hill Road, Winchelsea Beach)
