Rye Bookshop celebrated World Book Day last weekend (Saturday March 5) with a trip to Narnia when local artist and art therapist Anna Atkinson set children to work.
They decorated a Snow Queen's crown, a door to another world, and created a map of the new lands to be discovered, after CS Lewis' The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe series of books.
The children (see slideshow below, and photo above) created some beautiful works of art with the materials provided and were justifiably proud of their handiwork.
