On Saturday, June 3, a group of Ukrainians from Rye district travelled to the Battle UK-UA Festival. Pat Hughes of Rye Community Transport agreed to provide transport and in bright sunshine the party set off.

At Battle Abbey there was music, activities and food. This was a great day out for those missing their home culture. On return they reported that they particularly enjoyed the tour of the abbey.
