Rye Wurlitzer Academy will host UK Big Band Sounds in Concert at the Milligan Theatre on Friday February 2, writes Richard Moore. With Michael Wooldridge at the Rye Wurlitzer, revel in the sound of a full 19-piece big band, bringing you the magical sounds of Count Basie, Duke Ellington Tommy Dorsey, Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald and many more, plus Michael’s tribute to the Glenn Miller Orchestra.
