It’s an insult to offer our nurses 1%.
It’s bad enough not getting paid extra for wearing PPE all day, stuffed up with a face visor and face mask...and also paying £120 per year, rising yearly for professional fees, and £400 plus a year for parking.
When the pandemic begins to ease off, let’s hope the independent panel makes it own pay recommendations better than 1%.
