After what seems like an eternity, the bells of St Mary's finally rang out again on Sunday, May 23. With only six people allowed indoors, the full set of eight bells will have to wait a little longer to peal, but normal Sunday worship ringing is now taking place between 10am - 10:30am.
It was a wonderful sound to hear them again after such a long silence and a further step back towards normality. Anyone who would like to learn to ring the bells can contact the church for further details.
