After three years a friend and I came to visit your beautiful town. We parked in the station car park, where I paid for the parking with my card - and, being used to online payment, I didn't look for a ticket, although I had to enter my registration number.
We had a wonderful day in the bright sunshine wandering around then came back to the car park and a surprise. A wonderful person had seen my ticket in the machine, tracked down my car, and popped it under the windscreen so I didn't get fined. A big thank you to the kind and caring people of Rye.
