Pharmacy leaders from Sussex thanked all those volunteers last week locally, such as Rye Mutual Aid, (during Volunteers' Week from June 1-7) who have been helping get medicines to local people who are unable to get out, or who are expected to self-isolate and shield themselves from any risks during the pandemic.
The pharmacy leaders said "incredible numbers of people have stood forward to pick up prescriptions for those friends, family and neighbours who have been unable to do so for themselves ... and all these people are a shining example of how giving just a little bit of time can make a big difference."
