John Taylor will be signing copies of his new book I Will Find You at the Rye Bookshop from 11am on May 26. The subject matter is currently highly topical as it deals with child migration, about which questions are currently being asked in Parliament, the entire subject having been subject to a cover up. It includes the subsequent search for family. It is the story of Nick, transported from a Cambridge orphanage to Australia under the Child Migrant Scheme. After a devastating period with the notorious Christian Brothers, from whom he escapes, he is adopted by Aborigines before finally setting out to find his true family back in England. A fast-paced, moving and, at times, tear jerking novel - or is it indeed true?
