Becoming a member

Andy Dinsdale, the driving force behind Strandliners environmental  project has announced that an annual membership option is now available and says "thank you" to the supporters who have worked with him over the past years and have already joined as a member.

He says: "Your membership will help safeguard our coastal environment as we increase our events, taking our plastic pollution 'surveying and community action team', supported by United Nations Climate and Oceans training programmes, further along the coast and upstream within the river Rother catchment area.

"The idea is to train volunteers as citizen scientists who are team led to join the fight against pollution in their communities. To become a member or to donate please follow this link or send an email to strandlinerscic@gmail.com"

The annual fee is only £10 and can be paid for by PayPal or debit/credit card at the website. Joining has several benefits like receiving the newsletter, an informative magazine called "The Fulmer", experiencing Covid safe beach cleans with Andy and an entry into an exclusive monthly draw.

He explains: "By creating a data rich picture of environmental pollution, we can begin to put steps in place to stop it  Beach cleans are great for awareness, though they are only a stop gap."
