Next week, on June 15, Southern Railways will be meeting with stakeholders, including MLAG and other local pressure groups to discuss the current state of the service, writes John Minter. Rye may not have been as badly affected as other areas by lack of staff, breakdowns, staff sickness and general management inefficiency, as some other areas but cause for concern about our only rail link with the main line services has appeared in these pages before. There will be a detailed report next week after the stakeholders meeting
