Dear Sir I read your article on fines in error at Camber Sands I stayed well within my time limit on April 14 and my bank account was debited £1.70 I then received a fine for £60 from a parking company in Birmingham (Smart Parking, Unit 43 Elmdon Trading Estate Marston Green) I sent them a print out of my bank details showing that I had paid which they have ignored. My appeal has been rejected and I now need to go to an independent appeals service POPLA. Crazy, all this effort for £1.70 parking which I paid!
