Simply Divas a success

The ‘Simply Divas’ concert held last Thursday at the Rye Creative Centre was a great success, writes Irna Mortlock, and the audience thoroughly enjoyed the music of Dusty Springfield, Eartha Kitt, Shirley Bassey, Diana Ross and many others. The performers (above) included Ali Catt, Julie Edmonds, Kim Boeje, Aimee Jaine Carney, Gemma Archer, Lewis Clark, Claire Ashton-Cobb and Sam South, with Sam Williams on the piano accompanying Thomas Short and Rob McCaig. £1,000 was raised for ARRCC at the end of the evening.
