Ships built in Smallhythe?

The next talk at the East Street museum is on Thursday April 14 at 7:30pm. Fred Walker will be giving a talk, ‘Smallhythe: Centre of Medieval Shipbuilding’. Fred, an expert on the topic, will be telling us about the ancient shipbuilding industry at Smallhythe, the port for Tenterden, writes Ray Prewer. Admission for members is £2, for guests £3, including refreshments. Refreshments are served at approximately 8:45pm.
