Guy Fraser Sampson, who was responsible for killing off all the much-loved EF Benson characters in his earlier book, Au Reservoir, returned to the scene of the crime at the weekend to launch his new murder mystery, Death in Profile. This is the first in his new "Hampstead Murders" series. Set in north London, the book opens with the discovery of a fifth body in a run down part of Wood Green. It is set in the present day, though, according to the jacket also involves "harking back to the Golden Age of detective fiction".

Signed copies of the book are available from the Rye Bookshop on the High Street.
