Music in all its many varieties is central to Rye Arts Festival, and the organisers have gone around the world to provide a mix of great live bands.On Friday, September 19 Indira Roman and her band Aji Pa’ Ti will be providing a Latin American Dance Night at Rye Community Centre, with a red hot fusion of Cuban and Colombian rhythms. It’s going to be hot, hot, hot!This follows on from a night of West African music from the kora player Jali Bakary Konteh and his band Minyanta on Friday, September 12, once again at Rye Community Centre!

And, all the way from the Folkestone, Intensified will be playing ska, rocksteady and reggae on Saturday, September 27.
