It looked like everyone had a big clear out before today’s Recycle Swap Shop at Tilling Green Community Centre. We had a successful event, with about 300kg of stuff being taken away by visitors, and most of the rest going to charity shops or recycling.
Also along with us, we had Energise Sussex Coast, a social enterprise established to address fuel poverty in Hastings, Rye and Rother through the promotion of energy efficiency programmes, renewable energy generation and giving free energy advice. Several people took advantage of this great opportunity. Thanks for coming along and making the event a success.
