The Summer Prizewinners’ Picnic Recital at Fairlight Hall takes place on Sunday July 1. The winner of the 2018 Hastings International Piano Concerto Competition, Roman Kosyakov, will perform works by Schubert, Liszt and Tchaikovsky in the Recital Room Courtyard. The programme will consist of: Schubert 4 Impromptus D899 op. 90; Liszt Spanish Rhapsody S. 254 and Tchaikovsky Piano Sonata in G major. Tickets, price £20, can be purchased here or from Hastings Tourist Information Centre 01424 451111, and the grounds open for picnics from midday. Recital 2pm-4pm including interval.
