What better way to spend a late afternoon than by listening to Informal and entertaining readings in the ambience of Lamb House garden

Another in the series of literary events in the lovely setting of Lamb House garden takes place on Saturday July 2. Richard Crowest, writer and broadcaster, will give readings from EF Benson and Rudyard Kipling, both of whom had local Rye connections and other authors. You are advised to bring rugs; cold weather is not expected, but a marquee is available if wet.

Doors open at 5pm for a 5:15 start. Tickets £8 on the door; prosecco and light refreshments are on sale. For further information, call 07711 420702.
