When BBC Sussex was in town last Friday as part of its coast and country tour coverage it invited the Rye Ukelele Experiment along to add a little music to the show. Reporter Simon Jenkins even joined in with one of the songs. The ukulele group meets every week at The Queens Head in Landgate on a Tuesday evening at 7.30pm. All newcomers and any level of player are welcome. The group's next booking will be on October 28 at The Queens Head to support the Wild Boar Week (October 26 to November 2) with some piggy-themed songs. Find out more about the group on its website.
