Over-pricing at Saturday market

Are market stalls taking advantage of their customers. One reader thinks so

Wishing to support the new Saturday market at the Globe, my husband and myself paid a visit. It was a glorious morning but the stalls were sparse. We were told that they hope to increase the number of suppliers.

To purchase something we bought two bottles of beer to have later. Little did we realise that our £3 per bottle (275 ml) of Lewes-brewed Harvey's Blue Label actually costs £1.46 in Harvey's own shop and online. This type of extreme over-pricing will not encourage return customers.
