Plague at the museum

Bodies from the Great Plague were recently discovered as part of the Crossrail tunnel excavations in central London and a Rye man was one of the commentators on this tragic moment in history. Find out why this Saturday.

This Saturday November 7 there is an all day conference at the East Street Museum from 10am until 5pm about "The Great Plague in London and the Peripheries".

There are five speakers:

Each talk will last for roughly one hour, including time for questions and discussion at the end. Tea and Coffee will be available. There will be a break for lunch.
