Pette Shoppe closes after 60 years

The Pette Shoppe on the High Street has closed after 60 years trading. The shop's managers Steve and Jill, who are retiring after running the shop for the past 28 years, said in a note left on the door that they'd like to thank "our many lovely customers and their furry friends that have supported us — it has been having so many lovely customers that has made running the Pette Shoppe such a pleasure".
