As a continuation of their series of mini exhibitions by talented local artists, Ethel Loves Me in Rye High Street is proud to present the work of extraordinary artist SJ Rivers from Appledore, whose intuitive abstract paintings are made using only her hands - instead of paint brushes.
Inspired by her 15 years spent as a fashion designer and the skyscapes of the local Kent and Sussex coasts, she paints from memory using colour and layers of emotion, creating works which can be rotated and hung in any direction.
The exhibition runs at Ethel Loves Me until August 7 and the store is open daily.
