I took up running during the first lockdown to keep fit and stay sane. Happiest chasing a ball around and needing motivation, I decided to target a 10k charity treadmill run in under an hour.

It took one and a half years training before completing the run and achieving my target in 57 mins 11 secs. My times have improved each year (in 2022 - 54.41, in 2023 -53.32, in 2024 - 51.37).

Supporting Crisis at Christmas

The inaugural run was sponsored, but I have continued training and complete the run annually. Donations for these later runs have been made via store and licensed street collections. A box can be found in Grammar School Records or look out for me collecting in Rye High Street on Saturday December 14.

Every donated £30 donated can provide a homeless person with food, support, and accommodation over Christmas. All donations will be gratefully received by Crisis and I will keep running!
