St Michael’s Hospice is pleased to announce that the Rye Country Show will be returning this year under its new name, The Rye and District Show, on Saturday August 13. Jenny Yeo and her hardworking committee have chosen Elmtree Farm on the A259 as the new venue for the event, which will still include horse and dog shows, classic cars, country crafts and much more.
Perdita Chamberlain, Head of Fundraising at St Michael’s Hospice, said: “We are absolutely delighted to learn the Rye and District Show committee have chosen St Michael’s Hospice, once again, as the event beneficiary. Last year the event raised an incredible £16,463 for the Hospice. We look forward to working with the committee on what promises to be another fantastic day out for all the family.”
