Have you seen that ghastly new building in Cinque Ports Street? Now they have uncovered it, it looks simply hideous, quite out of keeping. How could they have allowed it? I mean, who could have passed it for planning permission? It’s so much too tall, the windows are all askew and it’s a horrible colour – will it fade in time?
