Iden Natural History is inviting members and visitors to their first joint meeting with the Friends of Rye Harbour Nature Reserve for nearly 20 years.
At 3pm a short presentation will take place involving the official hand over by Frances Catt of two £500 cheques to the friends and the society, being the profit from sales of the recently published Ted Catt's Book of Iden. Some of Ted's original hand written and illustrated journals will be on display representing a lifetime's work.
There will be displays representing current interest in our local natural history including fossils, society archives and many other items of interest, plus a gathering of local naturalists happy to share their knowledge.
