The new season of Iden's Natural History Society's winter programme starts with the Breda and Ernie Burt Memorial Lecture, to be given this year by Colin Page on Friday October 11. His subject is "Out of Hours at Rye Harbour Nature Reserve".
Next in the series on October 25 will be a talk on Winchelsea's swifts by Michael Howard. Meetings take place on the second and fourth Friday of the month and are always both entertaining and informative about the natural world.
