Dance music festival, Dream Valley, has announced their scheduled May 28 music extravaganza will relocate from Danson Park, Bexley, to Lydd International Airport.

The festival will feature more than 100 acts over seven stages, with party buses running music fans to and from the festival ground. Buses will run from numerous locations including Canterbury, Medway, Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells.

Commenting on the move, a spokesperson for Dream Valley said: “The Kent mecca has played host to dance music culture for over 30 years, invoking memories of some of the UK’s biggest legal raves. The fields surrounding the airport will be transformed, ready to take you to another dimension of dance music, immersive art and wellbeing experiences.”

Lydd Airport last staged a music festival in October 2019, when over 6,000 revellers raved the night away at the Connected drum and bass festival.

Included in the line-up of artists are actor and DJ, Idris Elba, Basement Jaxx, Italian electronic musician Marco Carola, German duo Claptone, Roger Sanchez and Charlie Hedges.

Roller disco, yoga workshops, wellbeing classes and an outdoor cinema are all part of the attractions to create a unique interactive experience for visitors. A street food market and a VIP garden will also be part of the entertainment package.
