Rye Museum Association celebrates its 90th birthday with a party in the Ypres Tower garden by the Gungarden on Saturday July 28 at 6pm, writes Kenneth Bird. If wet, the celebration will transfer to the Museum at 3 East Street. Allan Downend, a former curator, has put together an excellent brief history of the Museum, adapted from the writings of Geoffrey Bagley and Kenneth Clark, both former trustees of Rye Museum.
