The pilgrim walk from Ebony church to Chapel Bank took place on Sunday, September 2. It was led this year by the Revd. Canon Stephen Evans, from St Marylebone Parish Church in London. The picture shows straggler groups as they come round the corner on their way up the bank.
About 50 people attended the ceremony, and the weather gave us the most pleasant day I have experienced for the occasion over several decades of my own attendance.
