Sea cadets devastated by loss

Minibus stolen from sea cadets - again
Sea cadets' mini bus

Phil Whiteman, commanding officer for the Rye Sea Cadets posted this comment on Facebook after Christmas:

“Well, this is something that I didn’t think I would be writing again this year! Rye & District Sea Cadets & Royal Marines Cadets have had another minibus stolen this year over the Christmas period.

"Please keep your eyes open and report any sightings to the police. We are a charity and this is absolutely devastating for us.”

To have this happen once is dreadful but twice is appalling. The Rye Sea Cadets give youngsters such a great learning environment where they can achieve and grow in confidence. Having a minibus is essential and without it their activities will be curtailed.
