East Sussex County Council Highways has announced that Southern Water is to carry out interim to permanent re-instatement works in Market Road, some 20 metres from the junction with Cinque Ports Street on April 28 and 29 - and some two way traffic will be allowed in this normally one way road during the works to access premises and homes.
However traffic that would have gone down the one way street to Cinque Ports Street will be diverted along The Mint to Strand Quay and round the one way system to Station Approach.
