The Old Dairy Brewery has launched Local Hero, an exclusive premium bitter to mark Jempson's 80th anniversary. Brewed in Tenterden, Local Hero is a full-bodied bottle-conditioned 4% ale, with a malty toffee aroma and a sweet fruitiness. It's balanced by a slight bitterness from four different hop varieties, with a biscuity aftertaste. Director Stephen Jempson said: "To be able to mark our 80th anniversary is a source of great pride to us.
