Amelia (Milly) Voice, whose family lives in Pett Level, is competing in an international 100km ultra trail endurance race in Switzerland in August, the prestigious SwissAlps100, in order to raise funds for the charity Macmillan Cancer Support and specifically, the Macmillan Horizon Centre in Brighton.

Macmillan is giving wonderful support to her mother, Pamela Voice, who is currently undergoing treatment for an aggressive breast cancer, as indeed it is to the whole family.
Milly is by profession a teacher; she is also an experienced trail runner both in the UK and in Europe, achieving success in several races, including being in the top ten women and 1st British woman in the UTMB OCC race in Chamonix, and just recently, 1st woman in an international race in Lausanne, Switzerland.
She is an ambassador for the sports brand Salomon and has been featured on billboards and in its stores both in the UK and in Europe.
More details, including a personal piece by Milly on why she is doing this, can be found on Milly’s Just Giving page. The link can be also found on Facebook/Instagram @millyvoiceruns
