The docu-dramas continue at the Kino, Rye. New from Friday January 23 is The Theory of Everything, the story of one of the world's greatest minds, astrophysicist Stephen Hawking. The part of Hawking has already won Eddie Redmayne, pictured above, a Golden Globe Best Actor award.

Also at the Kino: Birdman, a black comedy starring Michael Keaton - it has been nominated for nine Oscars; Paddington which ought to be just as popular with kidults as the kids. The Kino Arthouse choice (Sunday Jan 25) will be Winter Sleep, a Turkish tale of stormy relationships which won last year's Cannes Palme d'Or;  and the Kino Kids Club showing will be Dolphin Tale 2 (Saturday Jan 24) - the further adventures of Winter, the dolphin with a prosthetic tail.
