Learn how to save lives

One of the latest PADs to appear (that's a public access defibrillator) is on the side of the George Hotel in Rye's town centre and Rother Responders (volunteers who leap into action in medical emergencies) are now offering the chance to get specialist training in how to use them and carry out CPR (resuscitation). A training model will be available (Vinny Jones who does the ads is otherwise engaged) and you can learn how easy a PAD is to use. That's this Saturday, August 29, 11am-3pm in the garden of 11 High Street, Rye. Tea and cake will also be available. More information can be found here www.rothercfr.co.uk.
