This week the Kino presented the Mayor of Rye, Michael Boyd with Kino gift memberships for each of the town’s Freemen and Freewomen - an honour awarded to those who have made a substantial contribution to the town, normally in a voluntary capacity.
The Mayor subsequently delivered the certificates personally to each of the recipients: Frank Palmer, Lesley Brownbill, Lois Benton, Rex Swain and Priscilla Ryan, whose award was reported recently in Rye News.
