After 28 years located in the heart of Rye High Street, Simon Milne Jewellers is set to close its door for the final time on Saturday October 1. Over the years Simon and Wendy Milne have worked to be a part of so many special moments for couples, families, and the community by crafting jewellery in the on-site workshop by Simon himself.
So many factors, mainly personal, have led to the decision to close their High Street presence. Simon and Wendy would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of their customers for their support and custom over the years and for allowing them to be a part of so many special moments from the hundreds of engagement and wedding rings created to repairs and one-off commissions.
Over the years the shop has seen and been involved in many local highlights, from the BBC South East Today "Deck Chair Tour" to creating the Rye Arts Festival Golden brooch for the Festival's 50th Anniversary to choose a few, the biggest of which being part of the Rye community and starting their family in the town.

Simon Milne Jewellers first opened their doors in Rye at 3 Market Road, now known as Hunter Jones, then later moved to the High Street, allowing them to expand their retail offering and place the workshop in full view of customers, allowing the onsite workshop to be more visible.
With the imminent closure of the High Street store, a closing down sale has now begun with 25% off! Simon and the workshop will, however, remain open for new commissions and repairs through a more personal home-visiting/appointment arrangement.
