Charmaine and Shane Ridgers are feeling exceptionally proud of their youngest son Charlie and his football team, Hastings United U13.
On Sunday April 21 they travelled to Hailsham Town FC to play against Rusthall, a team that they had yet to beat in the Crowborough and District Youth League. They drew the game 3-3 and then it went to penalties. Hastings won the game and the Crowborough League Cup, 5-4
This cup has major significance to the Ridgers family because dad Shane won it in 1999, Liam, Charlie’s elder brother, won it in 2018 and now five years later Charlie makes it a hat trick.
Such an amazing family achievement.
