Hot cakes for a cool cause

There's a cake sale and raffle at Rye Retreat, 36-38 Cinque Ports Street, Rye this Easter weekend – for as long as the cakes last.  The sale is in support of Water Aid and the Global Greengrants Fund. Water Aid works to provide sanitation and clean water all around the world, but Aveda, the sponsors of this event, will focus on Manakara in Madagascar. The suggested price for a slice of the delicious looking cakes is £2 and a £1 raffle ticket buys the chance of winning a £150 personalised hair or beauty package.
