The Friends of the Hospital at Rye held their annual Service of Remembrance on Wednesday November 11. The two minute silence was preceded by the ringing of the original Memorial bell saved from the old cottage hospital. The service, which was led by Reverend Teresa Munro, was attended by over forty local residents, patients and staff to remember all those who have lost their lives through conflict.
